Stress Management and Meditation

Description:
Health and well being is based upon integration of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body. In order to sustain maximum potential for well being we can re-direct stressful energy to release and open up physiological blockages in the body and enjoy greater well-being. The secret of meditation will be de-mystified enabling all participants to readily enjoy the benefits of meditation. Simple instruction will be provided followed by practical experience supported by instructor feedback with ample time for questions and answers.
Objective:
The training offers an opportunity to increase clarity, calm and serenity through the practice of simple and effective meditation techniques.
Skills:
- Meditation and guided imagery
- Breathing techniques to re-direct energy flow
- Energy healing, pressure point work, movement and self-massage
- How to decrease chronic pain symptoms
- Dealing with high stress levels
Application:
As a result of this class students will be able to engage in their own daily meditation practice, have a simple routine of exercises to open and calm the energy system and a knowledge and ability to de-stress from challenging life events.
