Transpersonal Spiritual Counseling
(3 part series) - 80 hours
Prerequisites:
Students must be physically able to do the work and are required to go through an application process for entry into Advanced Principles of Psychodynamics: Characterology. The application process consists of a 3 page biography, a brief medical history and a letter of reference. Students are required to go through an application process for entry into Transpersonal Spiritual Counseling. The application process consists of a completed Assessment Form and staff interview. The interview appointment should be initiated by the student and scheduled anywhere from two to four weeks prior to the onset of the course. Additional skills are also necessary for participation in this course, listed below:
- Chelation
- Direction of consciousness
- Perceiving chakras and auras
- Conceptual understanding of the realms of subtle energy
- Increasing kinesthetic perception of subtle energy
- Listening
- Communication and conflict/resolution/boundaries
- Conceptual understanding of subtle energetic interactions
- Meditation & Centering
Description:
Transpersonal Spiritual Counseling teaches the art of objective inquiry, listening and communication. We will travel deeply into the self and the client using a process of nonjudgmental questioning.
Objective:
To learn to facilitate and provide a non-judgmental, compassionate and relaxed awareness as a healing space for clients to access and naturally unfold their natural self-correcting healing mechanism inherent in their physiology.
Skills:
Students learn how to hold a neutral, open space while the client embarks on their internal exploration. Students learn non-intrusive psychotherapeutic modalities that stimulate awareness of blocks, fears, and limitations in themselves and their clients. The student will also learn responsible techniques in how to be with a client as they move through the release of deep emotional blocks.
Application:
Participants will have learned appropriate and affective boundaries, responsiveness and the implementation of healthy caring in order to facilitate deep healing. Whether affecting a healing simply through listening or whether the healing incorporates hands on contact, the very energetic presence of the facilitator will provide comfort and ease to others.
